An interior stained glass window is going to last much longer than an exterior one. It's not exposed to the outside, no weather changes, no sun beating on it every day, no rain, no temperature swings between hot and cold. It's protected and enclosed. So over time, an interior window is going to maintain its integrity significantly better than one that's facing the elements.
