It's usually one of the first questions, and it's the right one to ask. For most projects in Toronto, encapsulating a leaded glass window runs somewhere between $100 and $200 per square foot. Where your window lands in that range comes down to a few specific things, and I'd rather explain them than leave you guessing until a quote arrives.

What moves the price

The two biggest factors are the shape and complexity of the panel and the glass you want around it. A simple rectangular window is straightforward to build a unit around. An arched top, an irregular shape, or a panel with a complex perimeter takes more time and care to fit cleanly, and that's reflected in the cost.
